A103 temperature controllers stand out for their versatility and can be used for both heating and cooling. The control mechanism is Thermostatic i.e. On/Off control with hysteresis adjustment. The two relay outputs are configurable between functions heating, cooling or cyclic timer. With the two supplied sensors temperature control of two distinct environments is possible.
The A103 has two sensors and two relay outputs and is suitable for:

The equipment has the following main operating modes capable of operating between -50 and 100 degrees C.
• Dual stage controller - Uses only one sensor and activates two different loads, each with a different setpoint. It can be used both for heating or cooling systems and for triggering alarms
• Dual zone controller - Works as two independent temperature controllers. Each of the outputs is activated according to a sensor, allowing different setpoints
• Timing controller - The first output controls the temperature, while the second works according to a cyclic timing
The A103 can be setup for the below 6 applications that by configuration of the “Fu” parameter:
- Second stage depending on sensor 1: The controller works with two control stages, that is, both the relays are controlled by the reference of the same sensor (sensor 1) through two Setpoints.
- Second stage depending on sensor 2: The A103 acts as a double controller, with each relay being activated having its own reference sensor, that is, it can activate two systems in parallel.
- Electric Defrost: For refrigeration system with electric defrost. The controller will use sensor 1 and relay 1 for activating the compressor and sensor 2 and relay 2 configured to carry out defrosting using electrical resistance.
- Hot Gas Defrost: For refrigeration system with gas defrost. The controller will use sensor 1 and relay 1 to activate the compressor and sensor 2 and relay 2 configured to perform defrosting using hot gas.
- Cyclic Timer: The controller can act for heating or cooling, and relay 2 will be activated cyclically according to the adjustment of parameters d1, d2, d4 and d5.
- Milk cooler: This mode is exclusive to milk cooling systems where the second relay output is used as a timed agitator.
